Oil helicopters disturbing macaws

Hey Alan,
just got back from upriver am sunburnt and knackered!! Recorded on some days 8 helicopters pass in the mornings and 2-3 in the arvos!!...Crazy...Macaws not to happy with all the noise and disturbance - the landing site is just upriver from us in Loreto. Whilst I was there we heard them working with machinary inside the concession and so JJ went to see tham and told them to stop working!! They did and a "representative" flew in by helicopter to speak to us so they could work again. We've got an official meeting on Tuesday - we're going with a lawyer and as much paperwork as poss.....
