The artisans who knit these alpaca scarves and hats are part of a wonderful group in the Bolivian Andes that was founded by Peace Corps volunteers in the mid 1990's. The goal of the group is to improve the lives of improverished, indigenous women and their families. This goal is achieved both through the development of warm handknit scarves and hats which are sold at fair trade prices, and by providing the women with information on human rights and family issues.

You'll love the feel of these fashionable alpaca scarves and shawls. Approximate dimensions: 70" x 11"
