News: Rainforest Expeditions wins the LATA award for customer service!

The World Travel Market is held annually as an opportunity for all sectors of the industry to network with travel organizations from throughout the world. This year the affair, referred to as "The leading global event for the travel industry", was held in London.  Rainforest Expeditions sent employee Milagros Saux to represent the company at the event.  On the second night of the event, she attended a party held by the Latin American Travel Association and was thrilled to receive RFE's award for Customer Service.  

Amazon Undertaking - First ever SUP adventure in the Amazon

Rainforest Expeditions recently became the first and only company to offer standuppaddling (SUP) in the Amazon. To test the equipment and show staff the ropes, the company asked writer Shelby Stanger, expert paddler Mariko Strickland, and photographer Chase Olivier to make the first ever SUP adventure in the Amazon.

Combining Science, Nature and Technology to Create Art in the Peruvian Amazon

Peru Photo Tours, Rainforest Expeditions, Cognisys and Linden Gledhill teamed up to explore the incredible biodiversity of the amazon rainforest and push the boundaries of insect photography through the use of high speed camera equipment.

A seven-hour boat ride took photographers Jeff Cremer and Linden Gledhill 150 kilometers up the Tambopata River where Rainforest Expeditions hosted them at the 18-room Tambopata Research Center (TRC). TRC is located in a half-hectare clearing on the uninhabited frontier of the Tambopata National reserve. It adjacent to the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park and 500 meters from the world’s largest macaw clay lick.
